One of the goals of theSIM Montana is to create and nurture an in-state cadre of SIM Professional Developers and Specialists to ensure long-term sustainability of SIM in Montana.  The SIM Micro-Credentialing Program was created to help.

Steps to install SIM in your school

  1. Partner with a SIM Professional Developer.

  2. Examine infrastructure support.

  3. Consider SIM Alignment and Interaction with other school/district initiatives.

  4. Identify on-site professional learning leaders and consider sustainability.

  5. Create an implementation plan.

  6. Acquire needed resources.

  7. Develop a professional learning plan.

  8. Develop a community of practice plan for teacher support.
